My journey in California real estate began in 2016, and I'm proudly licensed as a Broker (DRE#01993700). I've navigated both boutique firms (Harcourts North America, HD Properties) and industry giants (eXp Realty, Berkshire Hathaway), culminating in a high-level role as a Compliance Auditor at eXp Realty—a position that involved reviewing thousands of contracts weekly. This experience ensures I provide clients with accurate, compliance-focused bookkeeping and real estate reviews.
Before real estate, I earned a Master's degree from Old Dominion University ('05) and a Bachelor's from the University of Tampa ('03) as an Athletic Trainer. This chapter included roles as the Assistant Director of the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory, where I honed my skills in meticulous research, grant writing, biomechanics, and anatomical dissection. From the sidelines of semi-pro football to university clinics, following the rules and understanding complex systems is simply what I do.
The Fun Stuff: When I'm not balancing ledgers or reviewing contracts, I'm often found hiking, cooking, tending to my vegetable garden, or getting lost in a great fantasy book (let's connect on StoryGraph: @aikaneb). I've lived all over the US, and I've found my true home in the Midwest—I even enjoy shoveling snow! (Bahahahahahahaha, no)
